Next Srùbag No. 47 – Cèilidh Seinn na Gàidhlig – Gaelic Song Ceilidh – Friday 2 August 2024 7.30-9.30pm UK / Ireland time.

We are delighted to invite you to our next and 47th Srùbag.   Our special Guest is Will Collings, who will sing songs in Scottish Gaelic.  As well, we will have the usual participatory singaround – songs in Scottish and Irish Gaelic, Welsh and Breton please!  All are welcome to join us to sing a song or to listen! 

Will Collings is singer of music from all reaches of the isles, with a special love of working songs in Scots Gaelic. From a very musical family in the Midwest of the USA, Will has been singing from a young age, and has specialized in British and Celtic folk music from the for the last 8 years, with a wide repertoire of traditional English, Irish, Scots, and Scots Gaelic tunes under his belt. He won the Herbert P. MacNeal award for Outstanding Male Voice at the 2022 U.S. National Mod, where he has performed for the last three years. He is also currently in the process of completing a doctorate in Engineering.
